What A Week!!!

Monday:
I met a new friend named Raquel and she took me to go fighting with her. Not like any kind of fighting... MMA Fighting. MMA aka Mixed Martial Arts is like UFC fighting. I didn't actually fight anyone but I trained and it was so dang hard. I learned to box, have good footwork when fighting, kick effectively, and how to make people tap-out when grappeling. It was very intense and i got a little sore the nextday. But that is one thing i wouldn't mind to keep doing.
Tuesday: Career Day. No School!!! I still had to do stuff for ambassadors but we got free food at the Red Rock Cafe. (All you can eat) and boy did i eat a lot. The only person that prob beat me in all i ate was Quin. His tray was full.
Wednesday: Sanity! We had an "Old fogie" party with the Ambassadors. Kereoke, Bingo, Crazy old people, and snacks for everyone. It was so much fun. I give my props to Aly, nate, Chels, and Cami for going to the extreme old person. It was so much fun.
Thurday: Go home to visit the fam and get ready for my cousin Darci's wedding.
Friday: Darci's wedding. Yay. Darci Downs and Layne Roberts getting married in the SLC temple. Congratulations.

Rebel Retreat and an awesome weekend.

Rebel Retreat was Awesome! We all had so much fun. Friday night we ate dinner catered by the Pasta Factory. I think everyone there had seconds. It was that good. After dinner we went to the Battle of the Sexes at the Gardener Building. It got pretty intense competing male vs. Female. There were all sorts of competitions that people had to do: jumprope contest, handstand contest, ice block sit, the happy meal blend and chug, trivia, whistle challenge, and many more. Can you guess who won? well obviously the girls won. Just face it... Girls are better:-) After that we went to a giant bonfire out at the Arizona Strip. Following that we all went back to the gym to play games all night long: volleyball, air hockey, basketball, ping pong, guitar hero... your options were endless. Everyone split for bed around 2 in the morning. It was real good bonding time with all the ambassadors and i got to spend time with my sister, Jade, who came for the Rebel Retreat.
Saturday i got to spend time with the fam who came down to visit. It was real good to see them. we ate food at the olive garden and that was super good. Sat night i took my sister and her friend to the hypnotist show. That was amazing! I don't think i have ever laughed harder. It was so dang funny. On Sunday, it was sad to see my family go but at least i will be up there visiting next weekend and thanksgiving break.
